The seeds of Emmaus Road were planted in the summer of 2009 in Athens, GA in the Satterfield's living room. That fall, God opened a door 3000 miles away in Arlington, WA.

 

5 years later, God called Pastor Mike out of his worship pastor position to plant a church! The Sattys went through the assessment process with Converge Worldwide, 18 months of residency with Cascade Church in Monroe, WA, and now shepherd the flock at Emmaus Road Church in Stanwood, WA.
